My island
My Ireland
My cradel in the sea
So often did I linger outdoors
To feel the sound of the wind when it mourns
Sitting upon the cliffs of the shore line
Captivated by this ocean of mine
Tasting its roar
Down beneath the depths of this spirit
This living and breathing entity
There lies a castle and a kingdom you see
A man, alone, who rules the seven seas
Standing on the deck of my ship
Sails loose and open over head
I dare not to to untie that which holds me in place
For fear of leaving and never returning another day
But deep in those waters his voice calls to me
A man alone
The man in the sea
This ocean made me
This ocean broke me
I was born on the sea
Now from somewhere down in the deep
comes a calling
I cant deny
Should I go
To my love below the surface
Below where even these whales dare not
into the arms of a man forgotten
by the those on the land
A kingdom of ledgend
And mysterious yet unspoken
Down in the water
In my ocean
In my ocean
