The Choir Room

This Choir Room fills the memories that you had,
Instead of being excited & I felt incrediably sad,

As I stand upon these risers I look around this place,
Trying to find a glimspe of you & looking for your face,

I'm trying to come to terms with this that this will be no more...
Where you'll never have a tardy slip & walk back from that door.

We sung our first song today & I could feel your presence there,
I wanted so much to hug you but this heartache I did not share,

This hurts deeper than I thought I would,
For this hurts more than it ever could,

Why do I have to face this day without you,
It times like now I don't know what to do.

I don't care if its not perfect... I'm depressed. Critize my work in any way you can... I just felt like writing a poem about my first day in choir & here it is.

    I am so sorry for what happened. i know it must hurt. This is a really good poem though. It explains how it is to go back to something that the two people shared. It is so hard when they are not there. I know....trust me. I am sorry. But great write.

    I am so sorry that the first day was so bad . But as YesYouCan said, each day will get better. Just take it one day at a time hon. This is a great poem as is, I love it!! Mary Anne

    Each day WILL be better Sara Dawn. I know it won't seem like it and it is anything but easy for you now...anything but. However...hang in there Sara Dawn for your four angels Your weeping is a song of praise for the gift your loved ones have been. You must continue even though your pain at first worsens. Give yourself time there are NO time limits on healing...it is different for everybody.
