You look for meanings of words
in a dictionary
But if you want the meaning of love,
I have for you
then look in my heart
I just can't find enough words to say
how much I love you!
You are my friend
but I so wish you could love me
they way you used to!
I want to rewind the days
So I can go through the tender feeling
I had when I first saw you
The days when I spoke to you
until the moon arrived
I was only part of your life
for a few days
But you will be part of my life
until I leave
I can't forget you!
You made me smile
cry,depressed,happy...
You made me go through all the emotions
in this huge wide world!
Even though you have left me
the memories I cherished,
when I was with you
will never leave me!
To you,you are gone
but to me you are still there
situated in my heart,in my mind!
Memories coming and going like dreams
Dreams can come become reality as well
for my dreams are always about you
My love for you is true
so my dreams will come true!

Thank you for your entry. Although the basis of your poem is of a love maybe not lost but misplaced there is that spark of hope in your last two lines and I like that.
