Creation's Blessing

When the earth first took its breath
and jewelled stars shone out their hue.
The golden sun beamed forth its rays,
illuminating me and you.

Moisture from the rain did cling
and glistened bright upon our skin
with droplets that contained our love
and nourished us from deep within.

And when your lips first kissed mine,
it was under a crescent moon,
created to witness the joy
of gentle sway and loving swoon.

This overwhelming happiness
that all of the world can see,
means I was created for you
and you were created for me.

love spins the stars inside the eye that stare upon the lover's face; beaming back rays with beauty's smile - a good poem showing how love dances
