Those memories of childhood
So filled with thought
Split in the middle
I never fought
Changes in manhood
Brings out the rage
Can't back away
Won't turn the page
Years to come love takes over
Pain in motion soon occurs
Forced to be that which I'm not
The past in my mind, I make my stand
I changed again, not for the better
Years again fly by with the battle
Welcoming changes, feelings so grand
Found that place where love's a letter
This kind of love not found in her saddle
Hearts and minds have moved mountains
This feeling of freedom, all new and superb
Given new life from eternities fountains
Live for the quality, mind's eye wide open
Share with the many the gift of the aces
Spending my time in those "Quiet Places"

Need those Quiet Places to soften the heart and reduce the agony of oppression in motion. A place to rest, A place to live, A place for gathering what you will give, A place of peace and true tranquility, Build your spirit, save your soul, bless this place for it blesses you, come away with an entirely new view.

This is wonderful, and something I feel I can relate to...especially those author notes. The balance between a crazy life and sanity, I think, often comes down to finding a place where we can put all aside and be ourselves. To find that "quiet place" within us. Writing does that for me, but so too do nights when it's just me and the cats listening to the wind outside and contemplating life. I love the progression from childhood to adulthood in this, showing the change and growth you've experienced. I sense some regret and sadness, but ultimately peace in all you've discovered in your life's journey. A fantastic look into your AP name, my friend. Thank you so much for sharing, I feel as if I know you just a tiny bit better by having read this.
