Seeing the SunRise

From the land of sleeping spirits came the fairy
on her dazzling wings she took me "taratari"
Though I had in my mind that I had to be awake
With the soft breeze I got drowned in the siesta lake.

That day I broke the promise of seeing the sunrise
Still I could see that sight captured for me in your eyes.

Author notes

Shapla
Here in the second line of the first stanza I have used a Bangla word "taratari" that means "soon" or "without any delay".
