If you looked in my purse, you might miss it
If you could find it in my mess of papers,
I'd call you lucky..
But I know exactly where it is.
It sits in the fold of an old flyer,
the one the crazy psychic lady gave me as we walked downtown.
It came with the red Ipod you gave me on Valentine's Day.
"Not very romantic", that's what my sister said.
I didn't show her the note.
I haven't shown anyone.
It sways and shifts in my purse,
during my mundane daily activities.
But the thought of the words on that little piece of cardboard make me smile,
they make me laugh.
But my favorite part is the little heart by your name.
I go to work, I come home, I go to the mall, I go to sleep..
and it's always there..
The note.
My note.

I have a note like that tucked away as well. Also, not very romantic (my note anyway), but still something I hold on to for silly sentimental reasons. Thank you for sharing your thing that you hold on to. This made me feel reminiscent, which I appreciate.

This is really cute.. I like how you hold on to it and no one else really knows. It's kind of like a secret note. Blah, this is cute and really well written. Great job, keep it up.
