Unspoken

There's a blank canvas on the wall,
it screams for ever more,
my heart or my mind, both you never saw...

Simply a shadow in the distance,
A fly upon your empty wall,
An unpainted picture gone forever more...

My silence with your greetings,
Your words, i could never swallowed whole,
Rendered speechless to create an unpolite fall...

Did you notice my eyes smiled though?

A mouth open with no words to sound.

No look,
Silence,
Small,
Silent,
A skip of a heart beat.
So unlike me...
How i regret the unspoken words.

Unspoken now, forever more.

Author notes

I know it's short but I've had a lot of writers block lately so I just want to get back into the swing of it. feel free to say what you think though!

Powerful poem! Liked your use of imagery, a good way to break free of the writers block. A strong emotional piece. x
