Blood
All over
Leaking from the
Hole in my head
Over the stone cold floor
And here I am
Lying alone, nearly
Stone cold
Dead.
What
On earth
Have I done
To deserve this fate
This bullet in my brain.
The dark red puddle
Slowly taking away
My final
Breath.
Please
Forgive me
For the pain
I have caused you.
I wish there was more
Time left for me
To do penance
For my
Sins.
Please
Oh, God.
Don't let my
Life end like this.
The world grows colder now
My head is spinning
Sea of red
Fades to
Black.

Congratulations on the gold, the poem really does that picture justice.

Bravo, loved this one. I tried to remember the form so thanks for giving me the name, saves me those sleepless nights of me trying to remember forms of poetry and what they are called. Love the background, it's beautiful and your words captured me - they seem realistic and heart felt, just what I wanted from this contest.

This is definitely demented, my dear mistress. **nuzzles your hand for a treat** I like this twisted side of you. It's scary but still poetic.
