God's Cloud

In the cloud, I hear your voice, enticing,
inviting, with a whisper resonating the spirit,
loosening the bindings from a  soul.

With anxious anticipation I stumble through,
finally to realize I'm not prepared,
I'm getting closer, but still, I'm not ready.

Calling me by the name you have chosen,
always brings a tear to the eye.
I'm working harder to fulfill my obligation.

By faith alone you have healed me,
you've placed your love deep within,
my every footstep is guarded.

Constantly I cast my eyes towards the sky,
searching the clouds for answers,
guiding me to where I must be.

The clouds come and go but,
the fog has lifted,
no longer do I live in desires.

There is much strength in meekness,
I do believe in get what you give,
this child chooses to remain pure in heart.

Even though I'm unprepared I'm still disappointed,
this too will pass as I bow to you,
thanking you for the life I live.

So much to say, so much to do,
each day is getting better,
living my life in your cloud.

This a beautiful piece. "loosening the bindings from my soul" is a tender picture.

Hearing God's voice is a prelude to the rest of our lives; willing and searching to hear it always, keeps us in a place of strength.

The power of meekness is not one that is often sought for in a world that likes fast and flashy.

That exercise of choice you express, in choosing to remain pure in heart, predetermines a lot of decisions that could otherwise be agonizing, arriving in times of weakness.

    Love the gratitude expressed.

    I really enjoyed this piece.

    amazing

This is excellent...It brought tears to my eyes....
Such a humble declaration here through your beautiful words......
This one truly reminded me of one of my favorite beliefs:

"There is much strength in meekness,
I do believe in get what you give,
this child chooses to remain pure in heart.

Even though I'm unprepared I'm still disappointed,
this too will pass as I bow to you,
thanking you for the life I live.

So much to say, so much to do,
    each day is getting better,
living my life in your cloud."

    and the ending and amazing...
I am truly touched nby this piece....
