    I have a hard time understanding what is "unbearable." I keep thinking back pain, but the terseness of it imply something more insidious, like alcoholism. A yen to sip becomes unbearable .. a desire to sip ---- it still reads a back pain to me.

    I like the haiku feeling and I like Merlot, too.
