My phone keeps on ringing,
Continue to procrastinate,
Lacking progression,
World seems to be aching for my participation,
Try me,
Ask,
My mind lacks concentration.
I want to be a part of,
Feel loved,
See the wonders of the world,
Perhaps lick you,
Taste,
Smell,
Transcend my hearts elations.
Feeling stuck beyond repair,
Dont give up on me,
I beg,
Keep pulling,
Your not grabing at thin air.
I'm here,
I see,
Feel,
Beg myself to get up.
For now the shower drips,
Looking in the mirrior,
Just take clothes off,
Leap of faith,
Feel clean,
Willing,
To participate.

Well as an adult lol. I say you did a great job here and hit on some very important things to an young adult. But to disagree with danneh. I believe that you should get every ounce of education you can get then worry about the world out there. but that is only my opinion .any way very nice write.

This is a little.. weird.. But it made me giggle.. And made my Psych class think I'm crazy. (not that that's anything new)
I wish I could participate with the world instead of being in class. ( Pretending to do a reasearch paper while I'm on here. )

I really like this one,The part perhaps lick you,taste,smell....sounds like something I would write. Alot of this does,perhaps it is because I relate to this so well??? This is truely a great poem!!! -
It is a funny sense that I am getting. Men normally do not think that pretty women are lonely! We just assume that they already have someone because who would let such a rose go unloved?! In truth, we are all human and it is just the our rejection-way-of-thinking that is clouding our minds! We assume she is taken so we won't even try to talk to her for fear of rejection! Yes, it is that strong and unfortunate for both parties because you never know if she or he will be the one! Don't give up even if YOU have to approach him and possibly tie him down to find out!
