Scripture

Here!
whore the world quiet
with dire moans
explicit and naked
lords die \ screams
slide down the piles of gold,

gore the mid rash
the elegant sash
catches in the light wind
as the wind burrows down the river valley
and the bombs explode crimson in the evening sun.

dada pees on the purple leaves
that was the evening trash
twirling in the hot dust
that gathers the blood
for burial.

I have looked into Dada art and even tried my hand at writing a couple of poems in this interesting style. Your poetry requires that the reader read it once for sustenance, twice for comprehension and a third time for enjoyment. I love the opening stanza. The images leap from the page and leave my moth agape. I'd better shut it now, wouldn't want any swirling trash to spin its way down my throat. Excellent! best wishes in the contest. I have missed your musing and know that I will be thoroughly impressed when I leave your pages.

    Much Love ♥

This is really great! I'm not entirely sure what your message is in this, but the overall images and phrases (whore the world quiet/with dire moans-----genious!) are wonderful. I'm one of those people that love darker poems, and this one is really beautiful and dark without being stereotypical. I'd love it if you'd send me an explanation of this poem, so I could have a deeper appreciation of it

I saw one of those plastic grocery bags blowing around in the wind recently on the drive home from somewhere special. It looked very pretty. It was strangely pretty. At first I thought it was something alive.

Someone special told me they saw a preacher on T.V. telling his congregation that he needed new High Definition TV to preach about end times. Jesus is coming, send a check. Did I ever tell you I am a thief?

dada that from eliot? I was talking with someone special the other day about the dada art movement. I think they failed cause
they became artists. and their unart now hangs in museums all over the this world.

I hope you win a shiny. This seems to go on and on even with the bombs going off and such.

Also, you think I earned 20 points or so?
