how friendships grow

remember the days when we was young
playing hide and seek
and knock a door run
dancing in the street
and sneaking off for fags
eventually that changed and we were sneaking off with lads!
we were inseperable, attached at the hip
even sharing holidays and every weekend trip
staying at your house
having our midnight snacks
watching music videos
and having our girlie chats.
then we started dating guys and driving round in cars
going to blackpool just for doughnuts
and the moors to look at the stars.
getting in trouble with the police and finally leaving school
we started to grow apart abit
but our friendship remained cool.
now its 5 years later
and you have got a son
i am pregnant also about to be a mum
although we didnt talk for a while
we are great friends once again
and though we've both aged physically
theres not that much thats changed!!
we still laugh hysterically when watching men try to dance
and spend all day smoking and talking about lads
you have helped me out alot recently
by simply beiing a friend
and it just goes to show its true what they say when you have found your friend till the end

Well, I must say as a poem this wasn't exactly the style I was expecting and some spelling and grammar stuff was pretty off, but it is a gift of friendship after all so I hope your friend reads this and likes the message and appreciates your feelings. Thanks for entering my contest.
