Love to Pain

She that came and had never found,
A love as stable as the ground,
She looked in herself without knowing,
To where her empty heart was going.

Then one day someone came,
Lit her world and his the same,
He took a chance and held her hand,
What he felt inside his future planned.

Love was there in who he'd met,
He'd love no other, his life was set,
Their hearts were warm, like the sun,
Their lives were happy and had just begun.

As time rolled on he could not have lied,
They were happy, side by side,
Now the sun begins to fall,
The one he loves doesn't know at all.

To start again and become re-born,
He must leave with the need to mourn,
As I leave you now I sigh,
And all I say is, goodbye! goodbye! goodbye!

You stabbed me once, you stabbed me again,
But what’s worse he was my friend,
I rolled the dice and tried for this to mend,
You stabbed me thrice, this now is the end.
