Lucky trees begin just as most
With attention paid to its lifetime
Nurtured and cared for as a sappling
Wisdom; rings of another year past
Cared for proudly; in its over growth
Lush green giving children a respite
Pinics are a perfect rendevous
A tree swing invites conversations
Breezes cooler; showcases color
Beautiful blankets cover the ground
Piles of leaves; begging to be jumped in
Hide and seek and respecting this gift
It's time to sleep; limbs appear so cold
Swaying as though to dance with the breeze
Snow comes; insulates chills inside
While two squirrels share hot chocolate with nuts
