If magic 8-balls could talk,
no question would be left unanswered,
no secret kept unspoken.
Life would hold no mystery;
it would be revealed by this
omniscient device.
If magic 8-balls could talk,
I wouldn't be here,
wondering if you felt the same way.
I'd just ask my magic 8-ball,
save myself my pride.
If this ball of plastic could talk,
I'd silence it for good,
not wanting to hear the lies
that would surely pour from its mouth,
the same lies I hear from everyone else.
If this magic 8-ball could talk,
I'd let it talk no more.

This is really good.
I love the twist you used.
Magic eight balls are quite interesting.
And you're right.
They probably would lie.
Nice job <3 -
Very well composed. The thought and the flow is good. Life would no longer be any fun if we knew all ot's secrets.. All the best!
