I Love A God

That copper hair atop your head

Or maybe that cold white skin

For all I know I love a god but for he I love within

You love me though I don't understand

That someone of your beauty why did you pick me

I love you

For all I know I love a god but for he I love within

I want to be with you forever

But I age and you do not

Will you still love me when I grow old

For all I know I love a god but for he I love within

You picked a mortal and not one of your own

For all I know I love a god but for he I love within
