Letters for my love

[In the form of a letter]

To my love,
There is something I have always wanted to say to you.
It isn't a confession, or a revelation, and it's not a deep dark secret that I have kept from you.
It is something much more simple than that. Something so simple that you would probably laugh, if you weren't so sweet.
No, it is just this:

You know by now, the sort of person that I am.
You know that I am a very proud man, that stands by his beliefs and principles to the last. You also know that I pride myself in how strong I am, both mentally and physically, and that I take things very seriously.
I know I am not the easiest person to live with sometimes, and that I could use a bit of work in some areas, but I think for the most part, I'm alright.

I take work very seriously, as you know, and I have a lot of respect for hard work and for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty.
I don't do things by halves, and I like things to be done properly {although admittedly, I'm not a tidy person by nature}.

What I'm trying to say is that everything I have described above, is a result of the effect that you have on me.
You inspire me to be the best that I can be in everything, and your unwavering support and encouragement for all my passions give me the strength and courage to push for the things I love.
Without you, I would be weak. If you weren't there, with your soft, silky voice whispering words of motivation into my ear, and pushing me forward with your invisible hands, I would never have got to where I am now.

This letter has been written to thank you for everything you do for me, and for being my rock. You are always there for me, in everything I do, and I appreciate it more than you could ever know.
Thank you for loving me, thank you so very much for loving me...
