Yet Another Dream

You have asked me to walk away
Now as my foot steps out this door dont ask me to come back
All I ever wanted was to love you
I guess love has to end at an unexpected time
Walking away from you is the worst thing I could ever do
Fate has its ways and some ways you find each other in the end

Tonight underneath these beautiful stars I close my eyes and cry
I simply lost my way because all I have is my dreams to guide my way
So I stumble and underneath my feet are torn branches you tore from my heart
Is this how everything will end without you forever
I have Wishes that are dreams that will only come true if we make them true
I brang you my heart one last time but you refused without truse

Those words I thought I heard were false impulses
Having all of what you taught me is all I know
So all the paths I take are now because of you
Giving me any answer you could to make me run will follow
I can only watch as I step back and let you live your life
Never again will I talk or try to hold you down

I awake from this terrible nightmare of you falling from my hands
The sun rises with open light and breezy chills
I try to make it up and stand to my feet but love has me wrapped
I hear your voice from a distance in the wind
I come to my feet and I see your face
I drop everything in hopes that you found me but it was yet another dream
