Blast me back to the time,
of lacrosse matches,
of jolly hockey sticks,
of tea parties,
of long dresses and corsets,
of midnight feasts,
For here in this modern world,
I do not belong.
I yearn for the time,
when girls were admired,
for their good manners and courage,
Respected for their intelligence,
Instead I am stuck in a time,
Where the admired are rude,
loud and obnoxious,
Where the respected smoke,
and take drugs,
Here it is "cool" to fail exams,
Intelligence is scorned,
Here- I do not belong.
Take me back to the era,
of Enid Blyton books,
To a place where,
I do belong.

A place where all is known, where all is right, where respect is earned - not given. A time where all remain as nice until the time they no longer are, a time where love is known and cool is a temperature, a time where intelligence is more then a coke. 'nough said, good write and I enjoyed it -- thank you for entering!
