I bowed my head down and listened to the wind as
it called my name.
So I must answer and leave this terra for a far better place.
If you must grieve then grieve for all that I leave behind but do not grieve because I go.
Understand the things beyond all imagination and the realms of this world.
Pain is now nothing but a iota of time in what was my life.
Rather I choose to let my spirit catch the wind and go back to the greater power that created us all.
Weep now only for the living until they too one day
answer what is on the wind.
If you look up you will see me riding on the great plains, astride a great white horse where the pastures never end.
Just behind me is the son that never sets, would you wish me any less than this?
Author notes
Many native americans speak of the running horse which is symbolic of the afterlife. My thoughts are with her family.
