The Answer To All

Christ, the answer to all,
older than  the rocks,
newer than each spring's thaw.

His words, His mantra,
inspired affirmations,
liquid, flowing, divine magma.

Each breath used to speak,
each draw of pen to quill,
secures His passionate streak.

He set the stars unto the sky,
master of times's time-line,
an artist with mankind in mind.

To each ocean's surge and flow,
His masterful hand holds it all,
no drop of foam falls without His know.

The beauty of His divinity,
through His words or actions,
are beyond human reality.

He opens the door to eternity,
yet leaves the choice open,
then paints our world with His sincerity.

Beautifully written! Your words hold a certain power, and this poem was truly captivating. While I can't say I believe in Christianity, I can say that this was indeed excellent.

    He is our all-in-all

When I read this poem aloud it sounds like the waves splashing on the rocks.

The form of the rhyming tiolets is beautiful. Your words are delicate and elegant and inspiring. Your imagery is wonderful - "To each ocean's surge and flow,/His masterful hand holds it all,/no drop of foam falls without His know."

He is as old as the rocks as as new as the foam. He is our everything now and forever more.

Thank you for entering such a profound piece. I am truly honored and amazed at your talent.

Love and hugs always - jo

Oh wow. This was all from a quote? This was truly beautiful. I am glad you and God have such a great realationship, well, it doesnt so much portray it, but wow. Inspirational. I haven't been able to write a poem about Him in this manner, this is amazing. Your words speak truth. Good luck, but it looks like a winner to me.
