to soft raindrops and thunder-
my soul pounds trembling
and it makes me wonder...
Even if I won't go far in life
and I'm stuck here in neutral,
will you take me by my heartstrings
and never let me go?
Even if I begin to fall again
and the gray clouds the white,
will you smile at me un-ignorant
and be my unfailing light?
Even when my voice is trapped below
and my love shines only within,
will you trust that I am still inside
and comfort my quaking chin?
Even when there become some doubts
in the paths which we will follow,
will you hold me by my heartstrings
and never let me go?
When I wake in the morning

With you I will go the farthest in life
passing much beyond this neutral,
twined will be our heartstrings
and they'll never let us go...
There is no room for a fall again
and the gray can't outshine the white,
your smile knows all that I am

And my voice is sure to be trapped sometimes
but the love still shines within,
so I will trust that you can feel it beat
and that will lull my quaking chin.
And even if there are to be some doubts
in the paths which we will follow,
I will never- by my heartstrings-
I will never let you go...
