Beauty In Death

Have you ever seen a rose bloom
As red as scarlet wine,
And wondered how its beauty endures all,
But have you ever seen a rose wilt,
And realized how beautiful it is
When it crumples and dies.

A tad on the clichéd side, but nevertheless a gorgeous piece. There's a lot of truth in your words, a truth and hope that one can't help but believe. It's funny how some things are still so beautiful when they're dying...
Thanks for entering this poetic piece.
