Brittany is
a person who is lost
unknowing
uncontrollably hopeless
Left without help
Friends deserted me
When I was honest
Every scar has a story
But not every story has an ending
I continue to search
Looking for myself
I seemed to have forgotten
Exactly who I was
Before high school
Now?
I smoke
What a regret
Drinking and drugs
Hidden beneath a mask
Regrets roll off my shoulders
And fall to the pile below
I think I need a slow down
Before I fall down
Flying high without a thought
Tripping now that I'm dry
Sober and alone I crawl to my home
Waiting for the storm to blow over
