Cacophony

I knew it was love when I saw your myspace
I knew it was lust when you came to my place
but now you broke my glasses
so I can't see your heart

Your bus is here but you lost your ticket
you want your heart but decide to leave it
(You're better off without it anyways)
Don't you know this is a one way ride
There's no return after you hide
(I'm not seeking you this time)

So walk out that door. I don't want to fight anymore.
And don't look back..

Everything I said to you is true
but words are only symbols
and you forgot the bigger picture
when caught up in cacophony

I ran and red light and nearly crashed
Thank god the cars already passed
(slow and steady wins the race)
I saw your bus drive past my car
setting sail into the stars
(but wishing doesn't bring you back)

So walk out that door. I don't want to fight anymore.
And don't look back..

Everything I said to you is true
but words are only symbols
and you forgot the bigger picture
when caught up in cacophony

I knew it was love when I saw your myspace
I knew it was lust when you came to my place
but now you broke my glasses
so I can't see your heart

I know nothing about the situation... and very little about you... but this rocks! Especially the myspace thing. I also love "but now you broke my glasses so I can't see your heart" and "I saw your bus drive past my car setting sail into the stars".
    This should be sung!

hahahaha. The opening about myspace? That's great.

I'm sorry that such a wonderful poem had to come from such a horrible situation. Why is that? Why do we all seem to write better when something terrible has just happened to us? In my opinion, it should be the other way around. Seriuosly. But I'm getting off topic.

The poem = wonderful, as usual. Nothing new there, love.

    Take Care.
    *hugs and love*

    Amazing!

    hehe.. myspace=evil!

This is a great poem!!! But I'm sorry the inspiration for this came from a bad situation!
Girls.. they only cause problems. We're mean.

But again.. just take me to her..
charlie will hold her and I'll beat her up. :]

You will find better. It's just a bump in the road. As my mom always says..gotta go through all the bad ones before you get to the good one. lol. (It's true though).

Quite honestly.. I'm not sure what this is about.. or more like who this is about. I guess it might be about her, but I actually wrote this in NY. so Idk. Very rarely do I actually know who my poems are about oddly enough.. except a large majority are me talking about myself.

Thanks for the comment... It's much appreciated =]
