A Winter's Tale

Listen,
Can you hear it?
That whisper of the breeze?
It's singing whistle,
It's soft caress,
They remind me of you.

Look out,
Can you see it?
That beautiful winter's day?
The sparkling limbs,
The peaceful quiet,
They reminds me of you.

Oh how scrumptious!
Can you taste it?
The sharp, frosty tongue,
The cool, clear snowflakes,
They reminds me of you.

On this winters' morn,
Can you smell it?
That wondrous echo of calm,
That dreamy scent of the countryside,
They remind me of you.

Wait, Hold on, Please tell me,
Can you feel it?
That cool breeze,
That frozen quiver,
Whipping around me,
making me shiver,
That golden haze,
covering my all over
The gorgeous sunshine,
Like a buttercup's clover
That whispering breeze,
fluttering over my skin,
Oh, my darling,
where to begin,
That ice cold caress,
yet so warm at the touch,
It reminds me of you,
It reminds me too much,
Oh why can't I be with you,
My heart's starting to splinter,
Until I can be with you,
All I have is Winter.
