Our Sacrament

Hear, oh Aries, our hearts beat as one
In this heaven we’ve created together
Our song of songs rings loud and clear
Calling all to witness the glory of our love
With the joyous hallelujah

Thirty silver droplets between my fingertips
My holy rosary of faith in you
As each tiny bead trickles through
I whisper a prayer to the lord divine
To bless our love everlasting

Our hearts need not follow liturgy
Nor are we bound to commandments
Our sacrament is love alone
We will not flee from Golgotha fields
Where the Devil dances to the serpent’s song
Where my innocence meets cold crucifixion
Such a sweet sacrifice for love
Then I will bathe in your redeeming light
To cleanse my tainted soul of sin

Come, my Samaritan, heaven will not wait
When the flood clears, the moment’s lost
Hold me now and sing the praise
We are to be blessed with a miracle
Hosanna, I’ll cry to my king
As we baptise our angel
In the name of our own sacred trinity

I liked the Biblical references. Maybe if I was in love I'd appreciate it more. Can't wait for more of your poetry.
