Delusional

Have you ever seen a cloud explode,
And heard the sky crack and fall,
Or have you ever felt the earth collapse,
Underneath your feet and the sea,
Rages red waves out to shore,
As those mountains so strong melt and fade,
Have you been there, and seen it all?

Have you ever woke up at night,
To a strange voice calling your name,
Have you followed it into the forest,
And tripped and torn your clothes on branches,
Then lost your way and fell into a pit,
Endless darkness you still try to escape,
Have you woke up sweating all over?

Have you ever apologized to a fault not yours,
And denied your existence for love,
Have you ever wore a smiling mask,
Through your darkest saddest days?
I've been there, I've done that, and it all left me dazed,
As I lay there with a needle in my arm,

Feeling amazed.
