Have You Ever... [Full]

Have you ever felt
Like your entire world
In the eyes of one person?

Sensed your soul meet theirs’
To transcend to an unbelievable level
Of blissful joyous dreams?

Have you ever felt as though your heart
Shattered into icy sliver-shards
As you knew they’d never love you?

Felt like if you weren’t ‘theirs’
Then your life was of no consequence
Merely a shadowy excuse for a whim?

Have you ever felt
Love enough
You would die for them?

Girl, this makes me so sad. My first instinct is to say I liked the other one better, but I must say that this piece with the dark and the light, the good and the bad, makes a beautifully moving poem.
You have my hugs and love.

Personally I like the comparison, it suits ME more; but each to their own.
      Thanks for your lovely comment.
