Twisted round
and round
and round
Catch the earth without a sound
Beckon leaves to tumble down
In spring when snow is on the ground
Or fall when birds are all around
Cascading till the sun does hide
Warmth when moon is in the sky
And beckons from the other side

Very catchy and reminds me of a song from my youth that we used to sing sometimes. I love the imagery and the last three lines I adore!

windershins basically means counterclockwise. in celtic folklore to run windershins round the kirkyard can be interpreted as running counter clockwise around the chircyard and was a way to access middle earth. best wishes hope this helps -
Lol. It means counterclockwise, or against the sun.
I took it to new lengths, of course.
