I Love You Too.

she stares from a cross the room,
never having enough courage to speak.
wondering what he is thinking,
and if she could relate.

every day she imagines conversations, dates, and memories.
but never once has she told him how she feels.
something unknown keeps gnawing at her soul,
the urge to scream her feelings to the world.

her best friend is still in love with him,
and rumors are that he's still in love with her too.
her choices are running out,
but she remains quiet.

she keeps making excuses for why he doesn't know,
everyday she fights within herself.
she promises that the next time she see him,
she will tell everything.

the bell rings and she gathers her things.
in her head she screams to him,
screaming the words she has wanted to tell him for so long.
and realizes that he cant hear her.

she slowly walks up to her locker,
and as she opens it something hit the floor.
just as she is about to grab it, she suddenly stops.
the boy she has liked for so long picks it up for her.

slowly he opens it,
and read it aloud to her.
unable to focus on anything but his mesmerizing eyes, voice and face,
she slowly tells him how she feels, and can not stop.

her eyes fill up with tears when she sees him laughing.
just as she is about to run away,
he grabs her hand,
and pulls her back.

he gently wraps his arms around her, holding her close to him.
she closes her eyes, and prays this isn't a dream.
as he leans close to her ear, he whispers the words she has been dying to hear.
"I love you too."
