You are my darling cherub sweet
With smiles to share each day
You dance through life on happy feet
As you laugh and dream and play
I know you have that extra gene
That makes others sometimes stare
For me the difference goes unseen
You’re perfect, handsome and fair!
Some things are hard for you to learn
And yet you teach so much
You show at each and every turn
Compassion, love and such
I love you so my little one
Your A soul that shines so bright
And like a flower in the sun
I grow towards your light!
With smiles to share each day
You dance through life on happy feet
As you laugh and dream and play
I know you have that extra gene
That makes others sometimes stare
For me the difference goes unseen
You’re perfect, handsome and fair!
Some things are hard for you to learn
And yet you teach so much
You show at each and every turn
Compassion, love and such
I love you so my little one
Your A soul that shines so bright
And like a flower in the sun
I grow towards your light!

I know you have that extra gene
That makes others sometimes stare
For me the difference goes unseen
You’re perfect, handsome and fair!
I really liked this line well done -
And a little child shall lead them...
A very tender and compassionate write my friend, they say our children are not our own; that we are merely vessels to bring them into the world, well, whatever the case, from birth and throughout thier lives we love and hold them to our hearts and always regard them as our children don't we...!? " you teach so much...you show us at each and every turn..." "I grow towards your Light"... food for thought, well done!
