you look at me
in all seriousness
and you tell me
you will never lie to me.
i take this as a gift
not seeing
how your honesty
can hurt me.
you reach for those
who are shattered
compassion glowing
in eyes hungry
to save
salvage
and a thrill
sweeps down your spine
even as your heart wrenches
your eyes are so fixed
on the shattered ones
that you do not notice
when i crack
and only need
a little support
to return to wholeness
Please tell me what you think

My favorite part of this poem is: "You eyes are so fixed on the shattered ones that you do no notice when I crack" - Good god, they're so focused on the past relationships sometimes that they don't see that they're following the same pattern that ended the past relationships. It's sad. You are a very gifted writer, you add imagery to the imagination, and provoke thought out of the reader. I really enjoy it.
Keep it up
