I give much consideration
To what I cannot see
Each day brings pure elation
For one more chance to be.
Death and Desolation
True terror and tragedy
Strike every congregation
Not just you or me.
It either makes us stronger
Or cripples us with fear
When we breathe no longer
Does it all end here?
Is death like graduation
Setting spirits free,
Or the end of all sensation
Just a fading memory?
Each day’s a gift, with age we see
The joy we all should share
Treat others as you want to be
Let peace replace despair.
