Always

Her sallow skin shines in harmony,
With all the things I’ve ever loved,
Her face now withered is only testimony,
That someone needs her soul above,

Her breath is shallow upon my face,
With no force to push her fears away,
But she rests with enigmatic grace,
As I watch her capsule begin to fray,

Still she manages to keep her wit,
Painful though it may seem to laugh,
Sometimes she finds the strength to sit,
But mostly she lies in a shallow bath,

She is my love, who lies by my side,
And no illness can take that truth away,
And although in death her face shall hide,
Deep in my heart she will always stay

This is amazing! It's really heartfelt. You can feel the love, but willingness to let nature take it's course. Really good rhyme and flow. Good job.
