I am wild, and I come in a varying size.
My beautiful colors are sights for old eyes.
I'm a decoration that can be sold in a shop.
When I die, my small body starts to flop.
You can see me in spring and summer, too.
I'm a wonderful gift from a boy to you.
My colors will always make me look the best.
Not that you've heard the clues, come take a guess.
Author notes
Option 10 in the contest. This is a riddle I wrote in seventh grade. Can you guess what it is?
"It was my sister's idea for a burrito-eating contest at Taco Bell. She won and turned the place into a gas-filled mushroom cloud. The End."

I think it's a flower.... As for my critique on the poem... I think you rhymed well, and it was good for a riddle... I thought this line had too few sylabols and threw it off though "When I die, my small body starts to flop."... thank you for entering my contest and good luck.

Yes, it's a flower.
When I look back on it now, I can see what you mean about that line throwing off the rhythm...Oh well, nobody's perfect.
Thanks for your comment!
