Self-Control is Breaking

I’ve always prided myself on never doing drugs
Or drinking alcohol, or smoking cigarettes, or cutting myself
But now… I can start to see that, perhaps
Those people are right to say that it’s a way
To escape from all of the problems they have

The liquor cabinet at my house is always unlocked
And razorblades lie in excess around my house
Tell me, what is stopping me from unscrewing the lids
And drowning myself in my own blood?

Please tell me what you think

Don't turn into who I used to be. If you even TOUCH a razorblade, I will personally beat you, do you hear me? If you get drunk, I'll drown you in alcohol until you say you won't do it again. You know I care about you, so don't do anything crazy.

    Control

is the key. To keep your sanity, must have control of ones life. People in ancient times used to cut themselves, thinking their gods would hear them or respond. Nothing happened. Keep your sanity and live your life, decently.
