Deep in the swelling dark of Appalachian cavern
dwells one, stark and horrid
Hillfolks say he lures unsuspecting lovers--
past the realm where light still articulates
and soul yet finds it's feeling--
into his lost domain
He breathes his lustful heat upon their spines
in silence
'til they entwine in passion's luscious play
inspired by darkness' sweet and piquing revelations
Then just when consciousness is drunkend
and fusion nears sublime,
the unioned lovers gasp--
for creature, strawed, sinks his fangs
into their dreamy heads
Until his thirst is filled
and they lay limp, as one.
Appalachian appature laps his face with jagged claw
Then draws, in blood, upon the musky black of cavern wall
two dainty little stick people.

Excellent
Very sensuous and vivid write. A different, but wonderful form of brain drain.
