Cascades of carresses showered on me
I feel the flutters of whispers new
Gentle warnings to change my way
My ears enter each word you say
Like the deer panting; I also knew
That I'm like a door with a lock and key
Meaning without the mighty Master's touch
I won't be ending up with very much
Your call is ringing; will not let me be
Offering the freshness of morning's dew
New sure mercies matching this brand new day
Can I ignore the pull of your call?
Place you on hold to forever stall?
I surrender, plant me like a tree
I'm the sheep of your pasture, your ewe
I choose to closely with you stay
Cannot get lost and swept away
From this resolve don't let me sway.
