You know he doesn't want you?
You say that again and again, I guess I believe it's true
His presence is really stiffling
I don't need your oppion it's not very nice
Listen here pretty, I'll give you some advice
forget him he doesn't want you
forget all of your friends
cause they don't need you
just sit and pretend
that everything is cool
you know the way that you do
the way that you do
Stop! stop it
leave me alone
Why so you can sit there crying at home
wanting attention, while being alone
craving affection
through the telephone
do you think they can hear you?
you think any of them care?
I know you want him near you
you see him everywhere
but I'll tell you something else,
if nothing I say you believe
You are nothing more to him
than lint on his sleeve
You're lying!
stop saying all of that!
Are you crying?
oh my god, you're pathetic
what carp
Just leave me alone
I don't like ou anymore
really, you don't
without me
you won't get far
go ahead and cry
I don't need you either
you're pathetic
goodbye
don't forget to hang up that
Off the hook reciever

WELL DONE!
I have had to DQ a few people tonight for not entering a piece that is a conversation between you and your inner self, but this is a wonderful example of what I am looking for!
Finalist for you for sure!

monologue poem
Lovely and lively monologue poem ,was imaginative and full of images ...

I like this one. It sounds a little familiar (as in I had one of my friends say something similar to me about someone I really liked). It's strange that we see it for other people, but when we're in that situation we never want to believe what our friends are telling us. But they're always right.
A great write!
