For Every teardrop on this Earth
A special one has died
Not Hero, nor someone of so called worth
But someone like you or I
In countries all over the world
Sad coverstones tell their story
He fought for country and died in glory
But who in death can know of life
My country grand allowed me land
For which I may one day fight
Then again the killing will begin
Just as it has for lost generations
Why do we go on and on in hate
Why do we always need to retaliate
The voice of Generals urge men on
And the innocent die their horrible death
Can we not hear the ghost of soldiers past
They scream for us to stop
Throw down your guns and useless fight
For one day soon ..there really will be no one left to kill
The good book tells of times to come
when all good men will rise as one
But just before this happens
Troubles like never before
and suffering and pain
Will have its gorging fill
For so much blood at one time spill
They're fighting again on ego hill...a screaming terror forever still
