how does it feel to be a stone
to roll down the slippery slopes of modern life but gather no moth...
how does it feel to watch a starving child cry
to laugh at a cripple
to watch a prregnant woman die...
tell me dear tyrant do you weep ?
each night,in bed, just before you sleep...
do you think of the roads you sent us on,
so harsh and crooked,so long and steep
are you happy,oh foul sheperd
to be the cause of death to all of your sheep..
Please tell me what you think

This is a very touching poem. And it makes me so sad that the pictures you describe are still reality today and I´m afraid they will always be. It is important to write about.

I adore this piece, it is ironic and emotionally gripping in every way. The second stanza is particularly striking, it expresses everything that needs to be said in a deep but direct way. Perhaps you are right, sometimes descriptions sans elegance are equally powerful.
Thank you for commenting and brining that another expressive revealation/rant. -
