In her I see a road
Not the sun, nor my salvation
A simple road
A revered road to that elusive contentment
A decorated path to that stable affection
A cherished road to humble caring
The unknown is my better
Her caution confuses
Her careful speech is painful
She is elusive; I cannot chase fast enough
In light of my best efforts, she fades
The tragedy apparent;
The one dances before me
I have fallen too far to claim her

Very well done. I like how you have created this.
This line spoke to me, "A revered road to that elusive contentment"
Be Well
