Black Rose by GiftedDarkness
She stands alone by his grave,
trying to be strong, trying to be brave.
She thinks about the life he lived and the love he shared,
he was always there for her and he always cared.
She closes her eyes to stop the tears,
and she sees his face so perfectly clear.
She sees his smile and hears his voice,
she knows she has only one choice.
----------------------------------------------
Life has lost its shine, lost that spark
since she has gone on.
What meaning does life have
if she is not there to share it?
She has gone away and my heart is broken
at the loss of her joyful light.
How I long to hold her for
just one more minute.
Or just to kiss her once more,
to feel her lips on mine.
I try not cry out with lost,
to hold back the tears.
I put on my best face
and try to act like a man.
The wind blows,
filling my mind with her sense.
And I can hear her voice
floating on the wind.
It kisses me, wrapping me
in her loving arms.
I long for her like nothing else,
there is a ache in my heart.
Long for the love of my heart,
the light of my life.
I can not bear it any more,
Not a single day more.
