bottles lined up in
neat rows of
brown and clear,
jugs really, more
than bottles.
some of them
capped, some
corked , some
stuffed with rag.
and the rest left open.
neat little cobwebs
filled the open ones
which held inhabitants
of tiny spiders still
lingering after being
jostled around in their
homes of glass.
Author notes
I saw a picture in a new book I bought and there were jugs lined up in a row. This inspired this particular piece. I just tossed in the spiders as an added bonus. As an aside... I don't particularly care for arachnids.

A WONDERFUL SCENE!
Your words bring to my mind this beautiful scene in which some old huge open bottles stand with dust and cobwebs on them, and probably what catches my eye the most is the sunlight shining in through an old dirt covered window and falling on them giving them this soft yet wonderful glow.
