This Year [Graduation Poem for MHT]

I’ve learned so much this year,
During the eighth grade experience.
Nothing will make forget this year.
I can’t forget memories like this.
It started back in the beginning of the school year,
Way back in September.
It was the first day of school –
Yes I still remember.
I gained a great group of friends,
Tighter than ever before.
The ones that I could always trust;
Ones that I could be there for.
I got put in the greatest eighth grade team ever,
Team D, we were the best.
No matter what we had each other’s back,
Even when we were put to the test.
My homeroom and language arts teacher Ms. Jackson,
Was strict, but also funny.
She helped to make me the talented writer,
She thought that I could be.
Mr. Rhymer taught me Algebra 2,
He’ll be a helpful part of my past.
I’ll never forget the stuff my peers and I learned,
In his amazing class.
Mr. Mocera was my science teacher,
He was one of the best.
His teaching style is one of the reasons,
I could pass every test.
Mr. Stallone’s class was social studies,
Because he loved history.
He helped my class and I understand,
Why things are the way they seem.
My team and I had a great time,
We knew how balance learning and fun.
We had circle time and parties,
And still managed to learn a ton.
I’ll miss all my friends terribly,
Since I’m going on a different path.
But I know that God made things this way,
And if they’re my friends our friendship will last.
Although I’ll be elsewhere,
While they’re at Hackensack High.
I’ll still be able to see them,
I’ll make sure to find the time.
I’m grateful for all the memories,
Grateful for all the time.
By I’m graduating now,
So I have to say goodbye.
I’m moving on with my life,
With God leading the way.
But there’s one more thing for me to do,
One more thing for me to say.
I’ll always have these memories,
They help me in the upcoming years.
I know that eighth grade is behind me,
But the memories will always be here.

thats nice I suppose... I mean if I was into well... graduations and stuff like that I am sure that I would have found this piece more significant to me... I really don't care about graduating deals, maybe because it was always expected of me to graduate... I mean well... my immediate family is considered top notch compared to the rest of our family... When I graduated high school it was more like "ok well done though that was expected of you" some of my cousins drop out and stuff and well I guess it is expected of them to do so... but anyways your talking about eight grade which was well even more insignificant for me... but yet i believe the lack of significance might only have come from my immediate family (for we are not like other families... since we don't celebrate almost anything... we don't celebrate halloween [never have, but I do have memories of turning our lights of and hoping no one would come to our doors] we don't celebrate easter [though I do have memories of seeing people make such a big commotion of finding eggs] we barely celebrate christmas and that is well... very little. It is kind of weird that we don't celebrate such things but yet the family around ours celebrates every american holiday... we are just special I guess)... anyways I am supposing that this graduation means a lot to you so I will say congratulations...

oh just a fun fact we don't celebrate 4th of july either... which is coming up... yes my family is a boring family... yet we are so darn cool... (I mean it!)

Nasty leaving all those people behind isn't it? all the people you truelly love and them feeling soo far away eventully when you've said your last goodbyes. However never miss a chance to see them, live every last moment with them in happyness and that way you know you won't regret a thing. anyway memories are something you will never lose unless you want to, do you? don't think so
