Between the pines
they held hands
while the cool mountain air
wrapped their love
in a blanket of perfumed crisp passion.
They stroll the forest
fingers making love in strokes so soft and tender,
sending those delicate tangles of teases
through the spine.
Eyes kiss with gazes of pure affection
when they reached the small gurgling stream.
It's soothing serenade dipped their hearts
within a pool of potent ecstasy
as their souls entwine in a secret amorous song
to make the moment
sway in gentle flush of deepest longing.
Picnic waits under the evergreen canopy,
blanket spread upon a quiet, isolated meadow,
couple feasting upon the banquet of nakedness,
air filled with intimacy's perfect symphony.

This was a very good poem to read. I love how you said that serenade dip the hearts in soothing ecstasy. That was very creative. The wording and the flow of verses contributed greatly to the poem. Well-written. -
