Lying on the bed
no words were spoken,
but the silence said it all.
He placed his hand on her waist,
and a sigh escaped her beautiful lips.
Lips that he wanted to touch,
and to never stop kissing.
He studied her face with a quiet curioustiy
and when she felt his gaze upon her,
she glanced into his deep brown eyes,
eyes that she could melt in,
and she knew instantly,
that even with a world between them,
they would never have to speak,
never have to convey their thoughts
with anything but a glance
or the silence that surrounded them,
for this was the power of their love.
